Laser World of Photonics Munich, organized by Messe München GmbH, was founded in 1973 and held biennially at Messe München in Munich, GermanyLaser World of Photonics. It stands as the world's premier trade fair covering the entire photonics industry chain and showcasing cutting-edge technologies. Complemented by the concurrent World of Photonics Congress—a global top - tier scientific event featuring Nobel laureates and thousands of professionals—the fair hosts multiple specialized conferences focusing on the frontiers of photonics theory and applications. Its 11 exhibition sectors span laser technologies & systems, optical components & manufacturing, optical communications, biophotonics, quantum technologies, etc., bridging the gap between scientific research and industry to facilitate technological transformation and international cooperation. The 2025 edition drew over 1,300 exhibitors from more than 40 countries and 35,000+ professional visitors, alongside the World of Quantum and Automatica (Munich Robotics and Automation Fair).
